The idea of ​​producing a new wine in a respectful harmony with the environment has matured through the different work experiences that Filippo Corsini, Duccio and Clotilde Corsini's eldest son, lived during over a year spent traveling around the world. Returning to Villa Le Corti, the family home and historic home of the cellars, with this new awareness Filippo develops a defined project with his father: creating a wine that symbolizes a new production direction, capable of satisfying the biological rhythms and cycles of the vine and of nature, which in itself already has all that is necessary for the creation of a great wine. For Filippo, the project was not just a modern translation of the example received from his family, but also an authentic philosophy of life. Clotilde and Duccio Corsini two years later, respecting the philosophy of Ficowines, continued Filippo's work following the 2017 Grape Harvest with Laura and Claudio and from that difficult year they produced the second wine imagined by Fililppo. Therefore, 2017 marks the first vintage of PerFilo, 100% Sangiovese, dedicated to Filippo. From a less rocky part of the Vigna di Gugliaie, with the same biodynamic approach, Laura and Claudio put into practice and then bottled a wine that interprets the vision of Ficowines winemaking. 1,976 certified organic bottles, which mark the future of the Principe Corsini company philosophy, its partner in the project. www.ficowine.com
Tasting and pairing notes: 
The wine born from the idea of symbiosis between man and nature that Filippo Corsini had imagined for the Sangiovese of Villa Le Corti and therefore dedicated to him. From the single vineyard Vigna di Gugliaie, cared following to the principles of biodynamic farming, a bright Sangiovese with eloquent precision. In the ruby red glass with transparent reflections the terse and fragrant aromas of red berries and cherry, the class of rose and lavender, the juice of pomegranate and mulberry, the nuances of pepper, in an aromatic cloud of great finesse. The structure of the sip is a continuous unfolding of elegant elements that build up a fresh and savory mosaic, immediately becoming an archetype of the defined purity of Chianti Classico Sangiovese.
