Vermentino
2016

IGT Toscana Bianco

Marsiliana Estate is located in Manciano in southern Maremma in Tuscany, where the proximity of the sea is felt in the climate, seen in the light, and breathed in the air. Because the estate’s territory is so extensive, the vineyards have been positioned at optimum plots among the hillocks for a total of 20 hectares. The soils of Marsiliana are composed prevalently of sand and silt over clay, giving life to extraordinary Mediterranean expressions of a Bordeaux blend. Vermentino, 100% Vermentino aged in stainless steel, blends the characteristics of the grape variety with the unique aspects of the territory. The result is a fresh, immediate, and savory wine with great

Tasting and pairing notes:
A joyful and exuberant Vermentino, with a Mediterranean declination of the tropical fruit, and the saltiness that immediately brings to the mind the landscape of the pine forests and the seashore. In the bright yellow glass there are all the fruity summer fragrances, peach, white melon, scented Amalfi lemon, lychee and maracuja, with floral nuances of tea rose gardenia and fresh bergamot. The sip is bright and juicy, light with a mint breeze on the glowing and salty finish. Matching: Fried squids (better on the beach) or Ethnic spring & thai rolls
